If that's the case, Tsorfas' bike was literally repelled from the pavement by the state of his bodywork...

That's true I forgot about that rule. What is the crash formula again?
Lack of talent x looks of the bike - age = crash %

Clearly you don't know that this is the only year I've ever had damage done to my bodywork and actually needed a paint job. Other years were different team colors or new bodywork

I've spent way more than that on paint. the HRC scheme I ran before was beautiful but liked the ground too much. I simplified it for this year and crashed the first weekend. only damage to the paint was caused by the lever guard flipping down and doing a little damage to the side. second crash in September in the same turn (my avatar) didn't even scratch the bodywork. it still wasn't a cheap paint job at just over $500 which was a deal from a former racer but its managed to keep itself in good shape.

I just treat glass and paint like oil and tires. A wear item. Function over form.

In this equation does the variable "age" represent the rider or the bike? Can lack of talent be a negative number? Following your model I come up with 61% for my rookie weekend, which closely follows the actual performance.

    Re: Drain coolant for winter

My brother is an autobody painter by trade... I'll have a nice, professional paint job for next season. Only money I'll lay out is for some fiberglass, resin, and bondo. That's the stuff I'll do at home. Priming and painting will be done at his shop. The local PPG rep now owes me a favor which will be repayed with as much primer, paint, and clear as I need.

Now... to figure out what colors to paint the damn thing...

Back on coolant, I drained my bike because I couldn't tell what was in there. What came out was blue? I flushed with water and refilled with green. Unsure what that stuff was.

The suzuki coolant that came out of my V-Strom was very blue. I am 99% sure it was the factory coolant.

Interesting.. Wonder why my bike had its coolant swapped with less than 2800 miles? Wonder if it was crashed and someone wiped out a rad hose? Used stuff rules sometimes.

I flush coolant every 2 years on street/dirt machines even if they just sit that whole time not being run.
