Racing club shutting down for 2012

We had our Michelin Race Tire Distributors meeting in Vegas a few weeks ago and many of the main distributors and subs had serious concerns about the smaller fields they were seeing at their respective tracks in 2011.

I know we had some riders who had clubs cancel weekends due to low turnout. makes you wonder what 2012 brings.

Michelin asked us for a forecast for the new lines of race tires, but its hard to predict this economy for 2012.

that is really sad.. unfortunately it is a tough economy and motorcycles in general not just racing has turned into a luxury
