It looks like the carcass held air even though the rubber separated and flew everywhere. Those Dunlop's (the riders) are made of stern stuff.

not new. saw this in Daytona back in 08/09

I remember that daytona race. Warmer than expected. Stoppage to change tires and winning Ducati got an engine change as well.
