Just heat it up a bit and it will peel off clean.....mine did

Of those times I have been aware of a helmet expiring in the middle of a season, tech usually lets the helmet finish the season out. ymmv

believe me I will be asking again. Last year they said I was good for 5 years from the build date which is 5 or 6 of 2009.

I believe you can remove and reinstall them. If I remember correctly it tell you how in the instructions.

Now the successful one, I'm not sure how you would quantify(is that the right word?) that if it saved him injury. But, if we got up to a few fails and still only one successful I would think the track, and I'm told it comes from above just NHMS, would look at it again. Keep your paperwork.

Actually managed to peel it off clean and swap it to my new lid without having to heat it up thnx

I am not speaking fromt hat stance int hat comment, but rather as a person who has seen lots of crashes at the track. I.E. NHMS is not endorsing my words in any way shape or form. My guess as a non-track authority is that it has both failed and succeeded. As stated before, I am barely on the ground (in actual corners responding to actual scenes), so I can't speak from direct experience.
