He's teasing it right now.... but I'll believe it when I see it.

Considering how long it's been and how adamant he was at the time that he was done, I'd say there's more traction here than not. Spies has always shied from the limelight, there's zero reason for him to tease something like this without any substance there. He doesn't like all the attention.

I'm hoping as hell to see him back, his WSBK season was utter magic and Sunglasses needs some competition in MotoA.

And the plot thickens... I really had utterly forgotten about his concussions and related issues that arose from them at the time. The article makes an interesting point. I can surely see MotoA having something to gain, and perhaps Ben's playing along... but time will tell. I think everyone can agree the last thing that Elbowz needs is some kind of PR stunt comeback that manages to leave him with permanent issues for life.

Interesting! Really hoping he's truly healthy enough to race.

He's been riding a bunch of motocross, maybe the concussion issues are under control. It's his shoulders that really have me questioning if he'd make a serious comeback, or if he's just going to be turning some laps for ol' times sake

Motocross requires a lot more shoulder strength than RR. It's really the falls in RR that are the question. Can he handle a hard hit?

Yes, I was referring more to impact than strength. And I meant "motocross" loosely, as it looks like he does some sand pit type riding casually from his instagram posts. I think the impact concern of coming off via highside could be holding him back
