    Endurance pitstops

I forget who we were talking to about endurance pitstops, but I found video of one from Daytona. 2 wheels, fuel, and rider change
I think Alex said he might have some more vids.

That's stupid. I takes me that long to find the socket for my rear axle.

Pretty good, they're also equiped with quick change hardware though. I've looked into making some of it.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

custom triples, you push the forks out wider, put spacers on the rotors, caliper will no longer hit wheel. some teams will also attach a runner plate on the bottom of the fork so the captive spacers can roll right into position

That is beautiful, another reason I NEED to go to Daytona, to see this stuff in action.

I was going to put one on my swingarm to help with rear wheel changes.

Actually.. the full Superbike setups of Old they use wider triples, spaced rotors etc...

This setup on Team Westby's R6 is straight from Graves Motorsports "Works" site.

It uses captive spacers.. when the axle is pulled, the calipers swing out a bit... wheel drops out. If you notice The front wheel changer... (Tony Romo from Team Yamaha) He puts the front wheel up in place..(on the runner plate as David noted) then holds the wheel between his legs, takes both hands on calipers and swings them inward, then bumps the wheel into place with his hips/legs and then the axle slides in.

    Its pretty slick for sure!

it can be bought for about 1100-1400 for the front and another 1100-1400 for the rear.

    Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry9000/4.6.0.297 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102 UP.Link/6.3.1.20.0)

I can get offset Galfers, but you'll have to fabricate your own caliper brackets and tripple trees.

I thought maybe they were just perfectionists

Seriously though, special hardware or not, that's impressive. I can't imagine how much planning and practice goes into it. They must end up bending rotors every once in a while?
