    Endurance race September 1st

    We will arrive on Friday late morning. We usually set up just to the left as you enter the infield. We arrive between 7and 8 on Sat and Sunday. Depending on what is involved the night before.... You know what the bikes look like so you shouldn't have any problems finding us. You can camp in the pits if you plan on making this a whole weekend affair..

    By the way, as bemused pointed out to me offlist, there is a dress code for the endurance race, long pants and long sleeved shirts for all people in the pit area (fire regulations)

    FWIW... I've found it pointless to pay any attention to wx forecasts from TheWeatherChannel any more than, oh, 3 hr. in the future.

    they're wrong WAY too often to sweat what they say, or alter plans...

    you're right. They didn't forecast SNOW at the beginning of the race season, and they have forecast rain for every race weekend since.

    It goes without being said....but I'll say it anyways. Those of you with NESR scwhwag...WEAR IT...If you need some, it will be available in the pits. Derrik and I have been beating on sponsors doors trying to get something lined up for next year and the better we look as a team, well you get the idea....

    ESPECIALLY if you plan on working in the pits for the endurance race. I'd like us all to have on our 'NESR Racing' shirts. In fact, for us to look like a 'real' team, I'd like us that'll be in the pit area Sunday to be wearing pretty much the same thing. Keep in mind that a long shirt and jeans are a must, so Bill Yack & I are wearing a white, long sleeve shirt under the 'NESR Racing' shirts and jeans. Hats are optional...

    Not trying to sound like a gay-gay, but we want this to look like we mean business. The pit area for the endurance race only will be set up on hot pit. If you plan on being part of the crew and you don't have your 'NESR Racing' shirt yet, plan on buying one there if at all possible...

    Unfortunitely, no. It's not an EZ-UP. I think it'd be way to light to set up in hot pit anyway. But for what it's worth, all the local weather geeks are saying partly sunny & cool in the lower 70's all weekend. Which means it'll be overcast and in the 60's at NHIS. You should be all set...
