Entering the Classic Motard race on an SV..?

Someone (I won't say who, up to him to say it) told me about a case where an SV entered a motard race (I believe somewhere west) due to lack of entries.

According to lrrs rule book that's impossible. However no AM motards raced this year until Sam just got one.
I was wondering if it would be possible for to have an exception and let me enter it for the classic. And yes I mean the on and off road section.

I wouldnt count on it. Your bike will suck even on the small jumps they put out.

Maybe he heard SV and its a SXV. You never even heard of a Aprilia SXV 450/550? Aprilia is a brand of motorcycle made in Europe. Europe is across the ocean. A ocean has salt water.

I think this is where Rambunctous read that Tsorfas was talking about his un-named source who heard of someone somewhere sometime who may have entered a motard race on a bike that starts with S. Maybe it WAS an SXV. Maybe it was an SV that got a green flag to run in a class it didn't belong in. What this all obscures is the fact that Sav is asking for special permission to maim himself/his SV650 in a motard race they don't belong in, so he can avoid having to race a very long 25 min GTL. Oh, and BTW he loves endurance races (and racers). Everybody clear now?

I suggest even if they say yes that you rethink this and take a walk out back into the dirt/rocky section.

Clearly I haven't thought this through. But I believe it will be FUN and a good story. That's good enough for me.
Hell if they let me I'll bring the 1000 to do that with.

Which might be coming for the burnout contest anyways. Especially now that I know it has to be a rolling burnout... It d be interesting to see who else enters that.
