I really want to get my hands on some of the street parts, maybe an engine kit.....

Yeah, I really hope he sticks around for a while longer. I like his unique designs and I'm curious what he can come up with if he ever gets some kind of bottemless pit of money for R&D.
what happens then? is that when the euro spec 1190 will be available to purchase? cuz i may need one by then.

I like how he keeps running that solo front disc even thou everyone I've talked to that raced one in the AMA last year hated it. Didn't have the stopping power.

Oh look, another big heavy slow bike!

He's baaaack...
Well, in AMA Superbike, at least.
Geoff May to Ride for Erik Buell Racing
I have to wonder why they're using the 1125RR instead of the 1190RR, if they're still circumventing the homologation rules either way. Regardless, I'm glad to see a Buell back on the grid in Superbike. Probably won't be able to win against the Suzukis and Yamahas (despite May's talents), but it should at least be competitive. More mfgs on the grid is always a good thing.

Uh, apparently he's got other talents besides bike building and design. Who knew?
I'm pretty sure the 1190 only exists on an order form. You order he builds. Somewhere on the interwebz is a tidbit of some euros getting 2 I believe.
Not bad for a staff of 6 people IMO.

I'm looking forward to see what Eric Buell comes up with after the non-disclosure, type binding contract expires with Harley. I kinda feel that Buell (the man and the company) got the shaft from H.D. I read an article in one of the recent bike mags telling about how harley really held Buell back in the past.
He sure knows how to make some ugly bikes.
Yeah, I guess I was just figuring they'd use whatever internal resources they had available to them, including the larger motor. But I saw on the Erik Buell Racing website that the 1190RR doesn't meet the AMA Superbike rules...yet the 1125RR does. I didn't see anymore details than that, so I guess I'm just curious as to what rules aren't being met.
Yea, but then he'd be working for another douche nozzle.
P.S. Ernie and his band suck.

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
The x1 is, by far, the ugliest of them all. IMHO.

This Buell is NOT ugly IMHO!!
