    Can someone explain the "Index"?

I am looking at my results (which were poor but that goes without saying)

I have index's of .167, .400 and another .167 Do I add em up and divide by 3?
What am I looking to have? a 1.0?

I did a search and found no info... Gonna go look in the rule book now.

info is there... but yea, that's how you find your current index.

1- finish position / total starters in your class = index

    you:

    1-(15/18) = .167

    1-(3/5) = .400

    1-(5/6) = .167

    (.167+.400+.167) /3 = .245

acceptable first weekend... I got screwed by the heavyweights, and am right around .360.

I have an excel file that does all the math including index per race, weekend, and cumulitive according to your finishes... let me know if you want it.

    got em...

that sucks, I was readign to see what they did when they have small entry races...

you got last place 2/2 so you get a 0... that sucks.

and if you had gotten first you would have only scored a .500 index.
