It is maddening! I am holding on for dear life and Ricky is wondering if he forgot to pick up his dry cleaning.

Do you think we are over thinking it?

For example, in the GTL I was just trying to fight off fatigue, exhaustion, or what ever you want to call it and I turned my fastest laps ever. Makes me wonder.

Happens to many of us. You get so tired you stop fighting your instincts that were screaming at you to roll off too soon, brake early, tip in slooow, and look right in front of your wheel. Also run out of steam to death grip the bars and cross up your body. (Or so I've heard.)
I've turned my PBs while desperately hoping for the checkers before I slid off the bike due to fatigue.

I always thought he was partial to cookies. We engraved one of his trophies with an Oreo once.

Years ago, at the end of each weekend we used to stop at Veano's for dinner. It was a tradition for Tom Fournier to have a birthday cake and all the hoopla sent to an unsuspecting person at our table, whether it was their birthday or not.
One evening Rick and his wife were eating at another table. At that particular time he was trying to lose weight so he could go faster. That was the only time we ever sent the birthday cake to another table! He sat there exclaiming, "No! No!" when they put it down in front of him.

I had no idea about the oreos. 1) I am going to bring some to the next Penguin event and 2) I am going to put one on my tail section for the next MW race that he and I are in =)
