So after about a year of work I finally got into the 15s. I'll have to go back to when I hit the 16.009 to get the exact about of time that is passed, but I am pleased to say that in the last race today I got down to the 15s for 4 laps.
I feel very confident that I know where I picked up the time and feel like there is more to be had there.
Will post race report in the next day or so, just had to share my good news.

Thanks all!!
Everything started to click for me on Sunday. The first race I got an awful start and didn't help myself at all, but I rode well. Got a much better start in the 2nd race which helped me get with the fast group and hook on. It felt so great and controlled. I learned a lot in that single race. Very excited about the next round.

Jamie, were you having serious trouble with the transition from 7 to 8? I noticed a couple times on sunday afternoon you could visibly see the bike get a bit of shake. I dunno if thats just the normal shake, or you were just having problems.

I used to get that on my 748 race bike... on both Pirelli's and Dunlops. I think it's more likely the setup of the turn combined with riding style and perhaps even gearing. As you come out of 7, there's a very good chance you're getting a little wheelie as you transition, if the front wheel just skips and comes down slightly crooked, you'll get a headshake there no matter what tire you're on! Probably the only point on the track where I'm glad to have a steering damper.
Edit: I know I congratulated you in person, but congrats here too
