    Flat tire, need some help.

I was corner working for Porsche club yesterday. We had a crash in T#4 and I was running around on the bike to get clean up stuff. Coming in to pit in, I ran over a bolt that put a small hole in my rear tire.

Are any of the vendors going to be at Moto Market or Tony's that can put an interior patch in my tire?

It's brand new, didn't even finish scrubbing it in. The bike is in the Goodyear garage now. I'll probably pick it up tomorrow, bring it back, and yank the wheel this weekend.

    BostonMoto, S & C, anyone ????

We don't have the tools or enough insurance to patch tires... haha

We will be up there though! Come over and say hi - you're cornerworking our events

When's the next time you guy's are coming up? I don't have the schedule in front of me.

I almost made a mistake and thought Moto Market was BostonMoto. I would have been pissed when I showed up on Monday with the crash truck and found out it was one of those groups that doesn't use trained people for corner workers and race control.

I'm not going to use the tire for the track. I know it would be fine considering how small the leak is and where it is. However, it would just nag at the back of my brain during a track day.

The plan is to have this tire as a reserve street tire now.

I was hoping to see if Tony could sneak me into one of his days next week since I won't be working the gate overnight or corner working. I don't know if that's possible.

Didn't the Porsche Club take up a collection to buy you a new bike?

The tire on my ST3 has an internal plug right in the center of the tread, in a sipe. Been on three track days with it... : ) (It's now worn enough that I need to replace it due to age and wear, not the plug, 8K miles...)

    Hey Paul,
Miles will be at the TTD events on Tuesday and Wednesday. He may even be there Monday.

Hope Miles is there Monday... I dunno if I'll have the SV ready to go by Tuesday & if I end up having to run the Tuono then I gotta pull off the rear tire & replace it with one that's sitting in my garage.
