GT Race Questions

I noticed in the results from last race weekend that some mw novices entered the gto while others entered the gtu... is there any reason why all of us on 600's shouldn't run gtu this weekend as opposed to gto? In the gto there were only 3 riders in the results and I don't think anyone was riding a heavyweight. I thought we couldn't "ride up a class"...?

I'm planning on doing the gt race this time so which one should I enter?

I thought I read that too, no riding up a class for novices. Regardless, do the GTU.
