anybody whose going have a beacon that my xt lap timer will work with? would like to have a rough idea what i'm doing during practice and I'm sure the track timing system will not be turned on

I don't run a timer so I can't say for sure, but I garage with someone that does. He always brings a beacon and has never needed to use it, it seems there is always one already up on the pit wall. No promises, but I'll be shocked if this practice is any different.

cool...never had one before so I have no idea if they're there. I know you only need one out there or the lap timer will get fucked up.

Just a reminder, the early registration discount for the Friday Penguin practice lasts until April 5th. From now until then you can register for only $135. After April 5th the price is $150. If something last minute comes up, you can transfer 50% of your practice registration fee to a future 2011 date, up to the day before the practice.

Penguin also has season passes for practice (7 events) that cost $750 total. That's like registering at the track for 5 weekends and getting 2 for free....plus you get a guaranteed spot in the special Thursday practice before the Loudon Classic (we are limiting practice size to less than 40 riders on that day). We're trying to make it as affordable as we can to come to our Friday practices.....hope to see you all there.

You can do it. We got my motor together for the second time in two days. Ill be riding for sure. Probably the slow guy hoping to break it in without it popping again.
