Hi guys,
New to Loudon this year -- except for the October weekend in '06 -- and wondering if anyone has garage space for the first race weekend. I've got one SV, and I'll be there for Friday practice and Saturday.
Also, if there's no garage space, do people pit in the parking lot area or out on the grass infield? Is there reliable power out there?
Thanks, and see you there --
Nate

CBR pits right at the top of the hill coming out of the tunnel on the right and left. Plenty of power.
Some guys rent garage space, but it's mostly full and space costs $$$.

Good to know -- thanks.
Is there PA system out there? Does LRRS broadcast the PA over an FM frequency?
They try, but not really.
Get a scanner from Radio Shack.

I moved to a garage and now you're calling it the CBR pits?![]()
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
Recommendations... yeah... here's what I learned...

If anyone has part of a garage they want to "rent," let me know.
Speaking of the infield, is it bad form to park next to a group and camp out or is there staked out territories that newbs arent welcome or anything?
Im not talknig about people that have been there 100 years, if they tell me to move I will, but I dont wanna park next to a bunch of people and find out they have their own little groups.
There are a bunch of groups that pit together in the infield, which never changes from weekend to weekend.
best bet ... if there is a ton of space around the infield ... don't put your stuff right ontop of someone else because most likely they are waiting for the rest of their "group" ... keep it spread out
after the first weekend you'll see where everyone pits

Jamie, can you folks reserve a spot near your pits for me and Zsolt? I'm not sure when you guys are going up (i'm going to try and get up there Thursday night, or early friday morning). If there isn't space, I'll just pit wherever there's power.

I'll be there Friday, probably around 10am or so.
