I can see that as a good idea. Even early morning cold practices make drastic changes in suspension action. Wonder what temp they think is ideal.

hmm. kind of makes sense...but what about the front forks
I also think rear shock comes up to working temp in a warm up.

    this from there site...

The Traxxion Dynamics "Traxxion Generator" Shock Warmer (patent pending) is an innovative new product that will substantially improve shock performance and tire wear under any condition. It is constructed of the finest materials available and should provide years of trouble-free performance. It takes only seconds to install, and will bring your shock to operating temperature in the same amount of time it takes to warm your tires, approximately 45 minutes.

    Re: Shock Warmer

The site claims 4 to 10 laps to get up to operating temp.

Maybe fork oil temperature doesn't change as much as the shock temp, so there's no need to pre-heat it?

Why do they heat the shock but not the reservoir?

The alternative is wrapping 20's around the spring and lighting them on fire. You'll achieve the same thing either way.

That's right. Tom Fournier bought one. I think after a while he didn't think it was worth getting for the shock but it was great for keeping his coffee warm.

    Re: Shock Warmer

I'd be interested in hearing PKs thoughts...seems like it could be something only the super fast guys could notice, maybe something like filling tires with nitrogen? Or maybe it's just something a lot of us have overlooked because the masses don't do it?
