    i've crash tested
    IXS gloves- held up well
    Vansons- tore through the palm
Joe Rocket Speedmaster- finger blew open at the seams

I now have the Motogp nitrous, have not tested those but like the way they fit and have good feel on the controls

Spidis are good, and sometimes you can get em cheap-ish. MotoGP are good and even cheaper. Helds are good, but hard to find at less than 150.

Spidi Sport Composite Motorcycle Glove :: New Enough Motorcycle Apparel

I bought a pair of Spidi TRE's from NewEnough a few months back... turned out too small, so I sold them... seems they've sold out of that model but still have another in closeouts...
    They do run small!

I've only had two sets of Alpinestars, the GP Plus and the GP Pro. I loved both, crashed in both & they both held up awesomely well... even broke my wrist wearing the GP Pros but not a single injury to my hand or knuckes & they impacted the pavment first.

but after 1 full season or so of street and track riding, both pairs developed a tear in the base of the left palm... kinda weird. Otherwise, LOVED the gloves. Think i'm going w/ a pair of Helds next.

I crashed in my nitrous 3x this year...None were terrible on the hands, but they all hit a little. Some scrapes on the knuckles and the top of the hand. Drug a palm a little, but you can't tell from looking at them. No torn seams...nothing to concern me

I'm still wearing them and will start the season with them next year. This is my second pair. (my first pair are still my back up gloves) Got them for $77 at the beginning of the season. Still happy

I also have the nitrous, haven't crashed them yet *knock on wood. They tend to run a little tight I think so try them on somewhere if you can before buying them.

I've got the Held Akiras. No crashes but they are the most comfortable gloves I've ever worn. Regards, Jake
