    Gear Bag Suggestions

I'm looking for a large gear bag for track days. Need something big enough to hold my leathers, helmet, boots, other misc. gear, extra clothes, rain suit, etc. I've been looking mostly at the MX bags, those seem to be the size range I'm looking for.

Anybody got any brand suggestions (O'Neal, Fox, Ogio, etc), or even a specific model?

EDIT: Looking for a price range around $100-150

Yeah, I figured I'd hit Ted up after I got some good ideas for what I wanted, but that may depend on how soon I need/want it.

    Re: Gear Bag Suggestions

Big Shirl just bought me a sweet Yamaha gear bag by Fox. Separate (side) compartments for boots, lots of zippered storage, a fold out mat for standing on when changing. Big, tons of storage and keeps boots away from everything else...

Snap looks like that's the trick I like the "mud flap" for changing, even if it's to keep your feet from burning on the tarmac on a hot day, nice touch.

hell yes brooo! The center section is big, I had a little pocket for goggles, then filled it with sweatshirt/gloves/5 sets of pants and jerseys, gloves etc. Top compartment for helmet, bottom compartment for boots and/or knee pads and crap.

Seeing yours in the garage was what actually had me thinking I should get one. I'll keep that in mind, didn't even occur to me to think of hockey bags.

    Re: Gear Bag Suggestions

I use the XL rubbermaid for everything except leathers (helmet, boots, gloves, back/chest protector, fan, tire warmers, ext cord, ear plugs). Put it in the car, and it's easy to pack because it's square and i can pack around and on top of it.

For gear bags...Ogio 9800...big enough and tough as nails! I use mine whenever I'm travelling with gear and it's yet to be even remotely blemished by airline baggage handlers. I like the layout of the 9800 better than the 9900 for anything other than MX.

I have 3 of their other suitcases in various sizes and they're all top notch. Gear for gearheads by gearheads
