Pretty much the way my marriage works. My wife is pretty supportive of my racing.

When in the hell did we all start having feelings??

In addition to -jro-'s post, the words "acceptance" and "tolerance" are also part of the equation.

No no, DB, that's called "man's best friend". Most people could only dream to be as loyal and unwavering in their love.

    NESR's own DR. Phil,

but for real Getting through the wedding ect is a ton of stress. I did not start racing until I had the DISPOSABLE income to so. I take care of my Mortgage and any other bills first. I do some extra Deals and side work to pay for my racing. Its not like I am taking food out of my wifes mouth for my hobby. If that was case yes it would be selfish.

I have said it before I had the choice To race motorcycles. or Buy a Nice sports Car I choose to race.

Call me what you want...I never pointed at anybody over anything. I just pointed out that too many people take the "If you don't like what I do f-off" approach to relationship and I think there needs to be some form of compromise.

Personally I don't know what anyone here spends on racing as a percentage of their personal/joint income and I don't care, I was merely pointing out (as I'm the one that started the thread in the first place) that a decision to get into racing next year would be a joint one. I'm sorry if many NESRs don't agree with that...

Even if you're the one who makes most/all of said income?

Hahaha, I do make 80% of our income but she makes up for that in the amount of stuff she does around our house and things of that nature.
