It's finally happening. Honda has sponsored a GP250 class using a moriwaki modified CRF250X in a 125GP chasis. It will be sold through honda dealers to 12-16 year old racers only. 10K per event in prize money!!!

Pretty sweet.
But they'll have to patch up that gas tank. It looks like
it leaks !
More seriously, it must cost a pretty penny though, no?
You thinking about one? It would have a bit more oomph
over your old 125 I'd think.

The tanks are handmade and have a cover not shown in the pic. I'm not interested in one as a 250 single will never have the go of a 125GP motor. This is geared towards kids because they just can't get the umph out of them without SERIOUS money and development. As is they will cost 11,500, but you could win much of that back in one season.
I would, however, be interested in a 250GP chasis built around a bigger motor, like a 450 or 560 single, or perhaps a 650 twin. But my racing days are over for now...
