So we are sitting in our pit minding our own business when we hear the distinctive THUMP! of a bike hitting the tire wall behind the trailer. We all run to investigate and we see the after math of this...























And she walked away!

She said she got bumped.........she lit up the rear, chopped the throttle, bike stood up and she managed to hang on. Unfortunately there wasnt another bike within 30 feet of her. She was fine though. PK's significant other, right?

What'd we have out there, a cat fight? I got called out to Turn 1 with the
second truck to pick up Natalie at the same time. Folks in the first truck
weren't familiar with anyone, I sent them straight to C-19 to unload!

We have the bike at the shop and its not the prettiest thing Ive seen. Athena seems fine with a few bruises. I was bullshitting with her at the shop today as we all worked on our dirtbikes and she is ready to go.

Yeah, I had Daytona440's camera for a good while on Saturday, probably took 200-250 pictures. Those were the only ones from Athena's crash. I have a ton of Jeff Wood on that "rental" Ducati coming through 1, along with as many pictures of the guys I knew as possible, I know I got Mark (165), Justin (605), Kevin (252), Clayton, Connor, Ryan Hobbs, maybe some of Geno?, a bunch of Shane Narbonne, Neal on the 125, etc etc. Pretty much anyone I recognized or thought I recognized, plus a ton of random pics.

Athena seemed great coming off the track, was all smiles and laughs and seemed for the most part uninjured. Thankfully she had the foresight to let go of the bike BEFORE it piled into the tire wall, her dirt slide seemed to have left her fairly untouched.

I am doing great!!!! Thank you for all of your support. My honey Peter was there for me every day.
That afternoon I was able to borrow a motard, put on the leathers again and shake off the birdys flying around my head, get on the bike do the Super motard race!
The next day I raced again on the motard and did feel much better in the head but my WHOLE body ached.

Yesterday Peter and I went to Jeff Wood's place and had a ball with the kids and friends motocrossing and some woods riding. I'm back to 100%.

People see my bruises and say ouch. I just look at them and laugh and tell them "You should look at the pictures of my bike". LOL
At least I didn't break anything and continue to do what we all Love.....

YEAH So what? I tried it about 3 times and I had a difficult time riding in the dirt with Slicks on. Plus, I didn't want to get in other riders way from my ass falling down.
You know.... Even though everyone was doing the dirt, I went around the track and jumped the jump on the front straight but I was at least courteous enough to let all of the riders complete the dirt then I let myself go so I wouldn't get a black flag or anyone bad mouthing me. I was out there to have fun not for points. I have enough of those. hehehe
