Air fence "testers", RRW is looking for stories

Does anyone want to be famous, like Mr Kurtz and appear in RRW?

From a thread over on SVRider.com:
Need people who have smacked soft barriers to tell their story for Roadracing World. If you have done the air bag face plant, and want the world to know, contact me at morbidelli17@yahoo.com or call me at 626.221.7466. It's for a good cause; we raise awareness about soft barriers, and keep the donations flowing that keep our sport and our heroes safer.

    Be well - Michael

And don't forget to contribute to the air fence fund on the RRW site: https://secure.echoalley.com/actionfund/

Mine isn't showing yet, since I did it this morning. I gave $50. Small price to pay for the protection it provided.

I am not interested in the notoriety offered, but the newly added (?) air fence section at the T12 exit probably saved me from severe injuries during a violent high side this year. I escaped with only a minor concussion. I was told by a reliable veteran racer that without the air fence, my injuries would have been more extensive and my hospital stay considerably longer than the three hours experienced.

I will make a donation to the fund.

I was right behind you on that one...air fence surely helped. Glad you were pretty much ok.
