Guys, this is very cool of you all. Thanks for suggesting it Rich.
I don't know what I can offer in return, but I will do what I can.
One thing I will promise is faster lap times this year, and I will obviously be pasting the NESR logo all over the bike.
I will try to get a web site up and running with details of when the races are, results etc etc.
I am so amazed at the generosity people are showing. This is after all my pastime, the way I relax and have fun. Some people fish, I like to race.
To give you guys an idea of how expensive it is to race, here's a rough breakdown.
Bike: This year I am racing a CBR600F4. This bike cost me $5500.

License: $100 per year
Race Suit: $1500
Race entries: $250 per weekend
Transponder: $300 deposit
Tires: $350 per set. 1 set lasts a weekend and a half.
I can offer to help people with work on their bikes and I can offer all the hospitality I can at the track. We always have plenty to eat and drink at my pit, and I welcome everyone who wants to hang out for the race weekends. Support is really very important. There is nothing that spurs me on more than seeing a big group of people cheering me on in the bowl, it can really make a difference.
Helping me out with the finances is really not needed, but obviously greatly appreciated, and I will try to give everyone a return on their investment by being able to see "their" racer kicking some ass on the track.
Oh, by the way, I already have my umbrella girl. Beth comes to the track with me every time I race, and gives me great encouragement, even though I know she HATES me racing.
