the weather has been AMAZING this year, hope it stays like that for the Manx as well.

Our americans are not doing so well unfortunately (lots of DNFs) but hopefully that changes soon.

Nobody seems to miss Guy Martin at all.

I don't know if you follow 44Teeth YouTube channel aka Baron Von Grumble and Alastair Fagan. Alastair who is familiar with the TT course is actually racing it this year for the first time on an SV. Great insight into behind the scenes stuff so far.

There is a class called Lightweight TT


The 2012 specification for entries into the Lightweight TT race are defined as;-

Any solo machine complying with the following specifications:
Machines must comply with general technical rules as per ACU Standing Regulations and 2012 IOM TT regulations.
Any four-stroke twin cylinder motor-cycle originally sold for road use with a water-cooled engine of up to 650cc.
Eligible machines must be from models homologated for road use 2005 or later.[3]

Why not? By the looks of it that's a newer SV so it might just fit the age requirement. Unless there are other bits and pieces that would disqualify it. What say ye, Sav?

I think the last video they talk about how the stretched the capacity of the gas tank of the Gladiolus to get it up to the allowed capacity. Insert sketchy air-hose+tennis ball solution and pump up tank till it pops out. Viola more capacity!

OR add a little gas, shake it around a little and add a match. = Instant growth unfortunately you can not control it. I bet ya they heated the areas the wanted to expand.

expanding the fuel tank it is very common. I am actually getting mine done when it gets there.

SVs are allowed as long as they are 2006 or newer. But the rules really work against them and favore the Kawis
