Daytona Sportbike uses the classic long track and both bankings.

Elena did good.. 44.582 is a pretty darn good lap on that layout!

Unless i'm mistaken, a couple of those top 5 are former red bull rookies cup contenders. i bet thats going to be a good class to watch this year.

The top 6 were all in the US or World Redbull Cup. Elena Myers, she has been racing 125's for the past few years and a Kaw 600 last year.

This class was pretty good last year and its looking solid again this season.

Roadracing World.com usually does full results......... but they also put spoilers in their headlines so I haven't taken a look.

Tonight at 9 on Speed is the 200, on my DirectTV its said Sportbike and Supersport. .. so maybe Supersport Highlights.

Tomorrow (Sat.) 10:30 and 11:30 are Superbike Race 1 and then Race 2. on SPEED

Bit fustrating. Jeff's bike is unexpectedly down on power. It's making for a long week so far. He ran 51's on his Kawi and 50's on the R6 so to be only doing 53's at this stage is almost unbelievable.

Team is playing with some maps and stuff so we'll see how it goes.

how is me saying shane finishing 9th and rick finishing 10th a spoiler? i didnt say who won?? i wont post who finishes anymore but whats the big deal? are people really avoiding all media to watch the superbike race 2 days later on tv?? and arent corey west and jeff on same bikes?? alex maybe u can get that info if they have the same motors or if corey is on better equipment?

They are on exact same bikes. One just happens to have a double-digit higher top speed. Welcome to professional motorsports where 'shit happens'. New bike, new forks, new shock all playing a part but the motor is accounting for 1.5+ second deficit easy.

Shrug. Long race. Just do what we can. Team is working hard. Long season.
