I am pretty sure that having or not having a title is meaningless. it does not denote stolen property or ownership. sure it is paper evidence of ownership or that the bike was purchased through legal channels, but the act of filing off the VIN or any evidence of tampering or covering it up is an indication of stolen property, hence it is illegal.

its like ripping off the tag for your mattress. sure its a bad idea and if you dont get caught can lead to a life of crime, but it is illegal and if you get caught you go right to the slammah like MC hammah

exactly. Not having your title on hand/a title is fine, unless they run your #s and it happens to come back as stolen

Who is this douche? I've heard his name thrown around. I've heard he's dangerous. I've heard he was suspended from LRRS. I've heard he came back as a novice. But what's the real story? Was he involved with LRRS this season? I don't recall seeing the bike.

Can someone please shed a little bit more light on it for me?

I saw him once.

I dont like him, for a couple reasons. He used to hand out jesus pamphlets at the trophys which made me want to punch him in the throat. I never had to race with him, but someone told me, this is a person who Ive never heard a negative word come from EVER, who did race with him say hes a danger to himself and everyone else on the track.

I've raced with him and he definitely has no regard for his life or anyone else's. During my 1st Am race weekend last year, he ran me off track in the rain and caused me to hit the deck pretty hard. I think he also ran Jamie off track last year. Then during the classic last year he pulled a few more stunts which I believe caused his suspension. He actually bumped to Expert at the end of the season last year, then I heard he was back in Novice. He raced the novice GTO in September, then I heard he was bumping back up to AM, but he never showed up for the October race "Thank God!" Hopefully with all of the stunts that he has pulled, CCS will refuse to renew his license.

I'm still not sure I understand how much this guy has to fuck up and endanger people, even injure people, not to mention cheat, before he gets the boot.

Like Richie said, I have had one of the quietest and nicest folks I know at the track be VERY outspoken about this guy before I started racing. I immediately thought wow, if so-and-so says that, this guy must really be a danger...

And I don't see how putting him in novice for a weekend helped anything
