Better late than never. Please enjoy my Loudon Road Race Series 2012 Year In Review video! There was so much more that I would have liked to add but in the interest of keeping it somewhat short I had to cut a lot.
It turned out that my GSXR that I ran 1:17 on had a massively bent frame which is why I never got comfortable on the bike.
I also wanted to mention Jay McCarthy #920 who lent me his SV650 to replace mine so that I could continue in my quest for a points podium in GTL. I would not have succeeded without his generosity.
I lost my job last year and had to race the first 2 events (and much of last year) on money that we had saved for other things. My wife is the most supportive person I know and insisted that I take what was essentially our vacation/retirement money and use it to get my season going.
I finally did find work...in Montana! I had to fly in the day before the races (or morning of in some cases) to finish rounds 3-7.
So many other examples of generosity and support that all came together, despite many hardships, to bring home 3rd place in the series for GTL which I feel isnt too shabby for my first full year as an expert =).
So, thanks to all my friends, family, fans, supporters. I can't say that enough.
