I've got a friend who is interested in doing trackdays and possibly racing. The trouble is he is having a hard time finding leathers to fit him. He told me that the biggest size leathers that he found when he went to Brocton Cycles was a 38 waist (I'm guessing he's in the mid to upper 40's). Short of buying custom leathers from Vanson, is there anywhere out there where he could look? I saw guys racing at the track this weekend that were larger than he is.
TIA,
Tom
How about Jenny Craig.

You thought they were a weight loss program?Originally posted by Jaynnus
They make leathers??
That's just where they stretch the hides to make the leather softer.
I know where there is a local club that they could herd them up and make a mint!!Originally posted by Honclfibr

Custom fit... off the rack price.
Not that I need custom leathers!![]()
Actually, I've only worn custom made leathers. I am definitely not a "standard" size.

Again I'll help post for our new vendor Deb since she's new to the whole message board thing. She's is currently working with motophoria to carry their line of gear at some great prices. I'm just about positive the owner/operator will do custom suits. The material is top quality, the stiching is great and the pricing is VERY reasonable, especially through Deb.
drop deb an e-mail or have your friend drop her one for some more info.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
I'll own up to being a fat ass and it was prolly me you saw n said was bigger than him you fukker!!!! Vanson custom is the way to go. The MK3 suit is so comfortable and the dual zip front is key for us big guys. Plus if he loses a few pound they are right in fall river and will make adjustments as needed. I am using the motophoria gloves and they are very good but i haven't seen their racing suits.![]()
Ive tried off the shelf stuff to no success. Ive been deal with http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/StoreFront.bok
This guy is pretty good at guessing what you need after you have your talk. The jacket I got from him fit perfectly. The pants on the other hand...well the waist is fine but I could use a bit more room in the legs. I kind of knew this would happen however hes going to take care of me and try and find something that fits right.
I know Deb is a sponser here so if she cant get what you want try this guy out hes pretty good.
If you wore your pants where you're supposed to instead of under your cunt-gut, you'd probably learn your true waist size!Originally posted by hardcore
