Yeah, the wrist isn't great but should be ok for racing by then.

The only real issue is getting together the $ now.

This is the response to my email.
Hi Riley. I won’t have that info untill after the 6th of January as the deadline to retain your 2011 # is the 4th. I will have the info after everyone has been processed.

Whatever dude... plenty of other Experts with more races under their belt wanting 2 digit numbers too.

You haven't even taken a flag as an expert yet.

And don't get all pissy. I was told the same thing before I ran an expert race as well.

    Congrats on the bump.

For the record, as per the 2011 rules to request a two digit number you must have accrued expert points in the year prior.

requesting a new two digit number must have Expert points from

his/her two digit number he/she must renew each following year

Can someone explain to me why low numbers make a difference?

Is there a tax deduction or something?

Cheaper to put numbers on the bike & quicker to find your paperwork (sorted by license number)

if you really want a low digit # just become licensed in Atlantic or Mid Atlantic. the only low #s that are limited are the Top 10 in regional points for the year before

I recall a garage mate of ours saying how it pays to have a low 2 digit number. He passed tech without a helmet, a flat tire, and nothing wired.

He did take care of the wiring and tire right after tech.

piggy and I had our numbers measured in tech and were told to get bigger decals. Just in case you missed the two tail numbers and the 2 on my helmet. That extra 1" bigger decal will make a difference.
