I FINALLY got mine a couple weeks ago. I emailed Wanda a couple times. First time she said she would remind CCS, second time she said I was actually on the list of people she received who's licenses had been mailed out and needed to follow up with CCS. Did so and after 2-3 emails there it finally showed up. Being my first as well I plan to keep it as a memento like Brian so I kept hounding people until I got it.

Looks like NHMS is dropping the hammer on people having single and even two digit numbers, if they aren't actively competing anymore.

The single-digit numbers seem to be in jeopardy more than the 2-digit numbers... At least with 2-digit numbers, you only had to race at least one in any previous two years. The single-digit numbers now require that you have won at least one championship in the last 3 years... Looks like #2, 3, 7 & possibly 9 might be in jeopardy for 2014...

I think it says you must earn points in 4 races to keep a two digit as well, so no more renewing, doing one race, then sitting out.

I took a look, and there are only a few people eligible for single digits. Only fair they have a chance to claim the ones not being actively used, at the very least.
