    Re: Loudon PB's

Everyone needs a Goal. To be a target for someone to be able to fixate on, you should feel honored.

I keep settng the bar on the Hawk and and yea I'm still looking to get to G-man's times in the 16's. He is who I looked up to and am still trying to beat his time and this has been since 2007. I'm still slow.

I also dragged/pusshed/battled with Cristian Cronin to 17.2 on a tard. That is jsut plain sick. Hell I probably slowwed him down. Sorry

I think it would be nice if all posted times were in a spreadsheet or running list, so I did not have to scroll thru all the bs..................

Not that I think this is based on anything but an opinion but do track days count? Part of me thinks it needs to be during competition, but a good lap is a good lap. Thoughts?

My thoughts are anything timed via transponder or reliable lap timer such as Lou's qstarz counts...but that's just me. I can understand the argument for it having to be done in a race, but I feel running a faster time in practice or a track day is more difficult, plus not everybody races. That being said, all my times posted have been during a race.

A lap is a lap, IMO. Besides, if you can turn a 20.2 at a td, you should be able to break teens racing. (as long as the weather cooperates)

Edit: this is not directed at anyone in particular, just a general observation. Winkyface.

Not everyone is a racer but certainly there's a big difference between a race lap and a trackday lap. I've heard of inconsistencies with some of the alternative timing methods as well. As a track day rider I used my times as a benchmark to see if I would be competitive and I roughly tracked them. Now that I race the only pb's I consider are those that occur during a race.

I'm one of the minority that thinks that if you do race, that any lap timed by the officials should be considered. This includes race practice during a race weekend, since you are still being timed by the official system.

We'll have enough of each type of bike that we can stage a proper dance off on the front straight, Hawks vs 400s.

I keep reading about everyone else so I guess I should play,

    1:18.14 from round 6.

New boots this weekend and I couldn't feel the pegs, that's my excuse and I sticking to it.

Tim, it probably wasn't your boots, probably just the frigid temps
