1:21.8 in LWSB, followed by 4 more 1:21's. Down 6 tenths from my PB two years ago. I'm amazed to be beating my own pace after 2 rounds back!

New SV PB is 23s. Keep getting quicker on the new bike each time I ride it. Still feeling it out.

Since I had 19.1 on the r6 and 23s (I think even a 22.9) on the motard I should in theory be able to do 22s or 21s on the SV once I feel it out. Need some practice time.

I'd say that teens are possible on the SV. It's all about maintaining corner speed. What are you running for gearing? I'd assume 15/45. If so, consider running 15/46, if you're not topping out the revs anywhere. I would just hit the rev limiter on my SV w/ 15/46 as I rolled off the throttle into T1 and T6.

I actually have a 44 rear on, which is what came with it. Was going to try the 45 but as I continue to get faster each time I ride it, I thought I would just try to grow into it. Right now I think most of my time is being lost on the brakes (still trying to work out markers/lines) and cornerspeed in right hand turns.

FWIW, I bumped from NV to AM while still on Rosso Corsas on my SV. That's not to say race rubber doesn't help - literally the first race on real rubber, I dropped two seconds from my previous two-round plateau of 26s - but it's not "necessary" to get out of the 30s.

I wouldn't say changing your gearing is a priority, but a 46 would def help.

23's is when it starts gettin really fun! Great job, dude. You've got teens in ya. Guaranteed.

    1995 Honda RS125 on Pirellis:

    - unofficial during Thursday's Penguin practice: a couple of 24.6 and a 24.2!

    - made it "officially" in the 24's during Sunday's Formula 40 Lights with a 1:24.996!

Finally, I may actually be starting to figure out how to ride this bike!

I don't think I've updated this since I got the new bike and started racing it.

    SV - 23.9

    Old bests unchanged:
    motard - 23.2 (i think, maybe 22.9)
    R6 - 19.1
