That's faster than I ever went on that bike, and I had a lot of time on it. Great job!

Thanks man! It was a blast to ride! Really gotta hustle that thing to get it to corner, but over exaggerating the body position and hanging way off of it made it easier. That motor is so sweet! Except for tire wear. Brand new rear was still spinning up out of 2, 6, 7, and 12. Might have to play with a lower rear pressure and suspension.

I don't remember what it had for springs, but I had Pete set it up for me when I was 210 lbs. Might have done fork springs but not the shock.

I was running it with the forks just about flush in the triples, and the shock at 325mm, measured center to center at the eyelets. That was running pirellis in '08.

I got the suspension numbers from Aaron Clark, who was riding one really fast for a while.

Haha yeah. Just didn't want to mess with what worked. As much as it's a beast to turn the stability is awesome. Have to see how that trade-off works. I think I prefer a more stable bike than an unsure one.

    I like it stiff.
Really though it feels amazing the way it's setup. I don't think Chuck changed anything judging by the dry rotted fork seals? Feels great for me at 153lbs though!

Well managed to destroy this one this weekend and got it to a 1.21.3. Screw thousands of a second when you can take full seconds off of it, right? LOL, I know it doesn't happen like that in the future though.

It was a good year. Managed to drop something like 4-5 full seconds from last year. Lots of others with fast times in this last round from what I hear.

I had a notable PB at the Labor Day round. 1:13.9. First 13 for me. I couldn't do it this weekend in the cooler temps with a harder compound but cam pretty close with a 14.2. Looking forward to being able to run IN the 13s next year.

Well, it took two years, but I finally knocked it down (and out of the park) by 1.5 seconds. Dropped it to 1:19.7 in August and even further to 1:19.4 this past weekend.
