Everyone needs a Goal. To be a target for someone to be able to fixate on, you should feel honored.
I keep settng the bar on the Hawk and and yea I'm still looking to get to G-man's times in the 16's. He is who I looked up to and am still trying to beat his time and this has been since 2007. I'm still slow.
I also dragged/pusshed/battled with Cristian Cronin to 17.2 on a tard. That is jsut plain sick. Hell I probably slowwed him down. Sorry
Dropped a little more than half a second this past weekend: 1:21.370 - 02 CRF450
I think it would be nice if all posted times were in a spreadsheet or running list, so I did not have to scroll thru all the bs..................

Jesus Keith! What you gonna do next year start as an expert?
haha not quite sav... stuff started to click for me tho
Not that I think this is based on anything but an opinion but do track days count? Part of me thinks it needs to be during competition, but a good lap is a good lap. Thoughts?
My thoughts are anything timed via transponder or reliable lap timer such as Lou's qstarz counts...but that's just me. I can understand the argument for it having to be done in a race, but I feel running a faster time in practice or a track day is more difficult, plus not everybody races. That being said, all my times posted have been during a race.
A lap is a lap, IMO. Besides, if you can turn a 20.2 at a td, you should be able to break teens racing. (as long as the weather cooperates)
Edit: this is not directed at anyone in particular, just a general observation. Winkyface.
Not everyone is a racer but certainly there's a big difference between a race lap and a trackday lap. I've heard of inconsistencies with some of the alternative timing methods as well. As a track day rider I used my times as a benchmark to see if I would be competitive and I roughly tracked them. Now that I race the only pb's I consider are those that occur during a race.
Who here (racers, sorry track day peeps) has posted their PB outside of a race, be it practice, or a TD?
