Heads up for those that haven't heard. The banquet and karting scheduled for today have been canceled. Refunds will be given and the hotel is allowing cancelations workout penalty.

F1 got double booked. Not sure why or how, but it didn't get discovered until about 11 o'clock today, presumably when Alex Guilbeault showed up as he was involved in organizing it and he was the one that started the email & FB alerts.

LRRS is fully refunding everyone for banquet and the official hotel is also refunding those who booked a room, without penalty.


Super shitty situation. Alex Guilbeault and Tom Blanchette are probably murdering someone out behind F1 right now. I can't imagine how many pissed off people they're gonna have coming from them. This sucks.

I heard Nathan didn't finalize the contracts. Ridiculous.

I found out at 11am, as well, through JC seeing it on Facebook. Apparently, Alex was there early this morning to set up and that's how he found out.

We don't really know what happened or why or who is responsible at the moment, so I'm not sure it's really our place to speculate be repeating hearsay.

What matters is that the powers that be make it as right as possible to the best of their ability, which they're working on right now.

Yeah I got out of the shower just after the news broke and my phone was absolutely blowing up with emails, texts, FB messages & notifications... I was like "WHAT the FUCK is going on?!?!"

Fuckin sucks... I was really lookin forward to it and I know everyone else was, too.

Having dealt with F1 in the past I can tell you they suck.

The 2016 LRRS Awards Banquet has been rescheduled.
The banquet date will be on Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at the Crowne Plaza in Nashua.
