    LRRS Hard card?

Just curious on the benefit of spending $175 for the LRRS Hard Card credential? I usually pre-reg for three races, so get a free wrist band already. Although it would be nice to just skip by the window, it seems it would be a waste of money for me. Anyone use these?

If I recall correctly, it's only beneficial for those that will attend all weekends and don't pre-reg for 3 races.

Yeah, I've still not figured out the supposed appeal on that one? Stopping and signing in is literally one of the easiest parts of my weekend as I'm usually arriving in the evening on a Wed or Thursday so... no line, if I want to have a friendly conv with the guy at the gate the only person I'm slowing down is myself, and I prefer to pre-buy a dump pass so... I'm visiting that gate one way or another anyways. Actually, that's something I'd like to hit the track up for, give me a 'season' dump pass so I can pay once and not have to get a fresh receipt each time...

...and at that point it's arguably a wash, since you'd be at $25*7 weekends = $175

    Correct....

It's literally just an easy way to get through the gate if you KNOW you'll be paying 25 bucks to get through the gate at EVERY weekend.

Which is hilarious 'cause... you're going to have to stop at the gate to pay that $25...

................. not if you get the hard card. That's the whole point. Pay once for the year.

Ok not to high jack the thread.. but .. why do racers need to pay a $25 gate fee if they only show up and race on Sunday?

Nah. Gate fee is 10 bucks on Sunday.

Reg for 3 races and they wave it.

That would make sense, but they never actually say anywhere that it covers all gate fees which is why I'm scratching my head.

Funny, I guess I am ode a refund! 4 of the 5 race Sundays I showed up. I was charged $25 gate fee to enter the track. The other I was charged $15..
