The 4 on track oilings both of us have been at (me being the first bike through the oil for the last two times) the past 2 years happened on bikes that hit the ground due to oil on the rear tire. The catch pan did it's job until the bike wasn't upright anymore.

Less oil to clean, but still a shitload of cleaning.

How about, my EX500 has an oil leak that I can't find. Whatever, you guys get the tire warmers off, while I put my leathers on after 2nd call?

Do I read this correctly ... there's a class called "Heavyweight Superbike," but just no race for it?

Wanda's email was of little help. If these are the only two classes being eliminated:

1. Due to lack of participation and much discussion, we have decided to eliminate 2 classes; we no longer run Middleweight Production Twins or Formula 50. We do still have Formula 50 Lights. (Section 20)

Where's Ex/Am Heavyweight Superbike???

Ps. I have to be honest, I'm a little disappointed that Formula 50 was eliminated.

Yes that is right. All that matters is that it is Snell and the helmet is under 5 years old.

To clarify, the 5 years is the actual MANUFACTURE date, not when you purchased it. I purchased my Arai in 2007 but it was manufactured in 7/2006, which made it out of date for racing in July last year. Should be stamped on it or tagged somewhere.
