It's not really ON the viffer yet, the triples are sort of mocked up but I have a complete front end: Forks, wheel, GMD triples, Braketech rotors, OEM calipers (6-pots) and clip-ons.
I have the stock OEM Showa fully adjustable non-USD forks sitting in the basement, which I may as well start cleaning up.... anyway, I'll get a FS thread goin' once I can catalog everything...
If only the rules allowed more displacement for inline 4s, I'd love to go up against that VFR with my FZR in P-89. Oh well, we'll just have to throw down in ULSB instead!
So... this now impacts me directly.

Ultralight inline 4 Am, where exactly do I slot in? I can see Group 1, 5 or 6 being the eventual answer?
Do I read this correctly ... there's a class called "Heavyweight Superbike," but just no race for it?

So what if you race an SV 650 and a P-89 bike do you get to go out in a different practice with out p-89 bike?
Don't know if Eric can answer this. Are there going to be any combined groups like the last few years?

Seems like if you add p-89 to the AM and EX (Practice 6-7) things are really going to be busy in an already busy environment. Maybe I'll just bump down to ULSB for more room. If not I'm hoping the time of the sessions will be any shorter.

I would have to believe there would be combined groups. If that is the case why not just put it in the rule book as 1 group instead of 2. I'm sure some out of out-of-towners may miss a session if they don't know things are combined. If this was my first time at LRRS I would think they are all separate sessions.
My rant is done, after the fact, I know. I should have had put my input in prior to this. So slap me. There is always next year if the world does not end.

When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

and why do they keep Group 4 if its not available anymore. just renumber the damn things properly.

I agree that the practices should probably be re-numbered. I'm not sure if that will happen or not this year as they like to have the rulebook be accurate. The practices are going to be the same as last year, with all the same bikes out at the same time as last year as well.
We'll see where the P-89 bikes end up....I think that we will just have to see how fast they are and use our head as to where to put them.
