Just a heads up to you guys that we have had a rush on pre-orders and are starting to run down to critical stock level of some specific compounds and sizes, particularly rains and 160 rears. We have some left, but we are running a little low.
If you know you have a Pirelli tire requirement this weekend, book them at the boston moto shop to avoid missing out on your favorite compound.

or at the very least send an email to me at tires@bostonmoto.com or you might be disappointed.

Holy hell, didn't know there was an SC0...
LRRS EX #165 (formerly)
The SC0 is designed for warmer conditions, unlike other compounds, the SC0 is technically a qualifying tire. When you have to qualify at a track that's hot, and would say be typically running an SC3 front tire, the SC0 is designed to grip even better despite the heat, whereas an SC1 front tire at the same (hot) track would grease up pretty quickly. Obviously, the SC0 is not designed to last terribly long, which is why at desert and other typically warm tracks it's an option for an 8 lap sprint, since it's designed for the heat.... but you won't see folks getting anymore out of it after 8 laps or so.
Hopefully that makes sense, I didn't get much sleep last night.
makes perfect sense, thanks.
