This still up for 2016? I'm thinking of making the switch because of Dunlop dropping their contingency program.

    Edit...seem the PM

We are going. Plenty of stock.

The program has been modified to the rider buying TWO rears, getting a FREE front.

We have tires and are ready to go.

What front tire should you on the front with a motard rear 160 ?

Motards are their own world - they do not qualify.

Michelin is all over the place with huh? I've been running Michelins for 5 years and inconsistencies like this are a HUGE reason why I just made the switch to Bridgestone. I spent all of last season using old stock tires because Michelin couldn't manage to make... any? of their EVO tires apparently. What a pain in the ass that became.

Jesus Christ on a candle stick.. why even bother with this program anymore if they're going to keep changing the stipulations a month before the season kicks off.

I mean seriously. What company thinks its a good idea to announce a program when they don't have ANY stock? Then re-announce the program and a month before it happens say "Oh wait...., just kidding... its actually going to cost... twice as much..."

Who the hell is going to be like "Yeah, I'm down with that... they seem like they have a clue"

That is all. Not bashing you Karaya One... just Michelin

I think this whole thing did a lot more damage than good.
    Best wishes this season.

    Ah! Also!
Isn't the whole idea of the program to let people who ride other tires to try the Michelin? Why would I want to buy TWO rears if the idea is to TRY the tire?

If I had to guesss I'd say the change was more to keep the fast riders happy.

The way I'm thinking about it is the fast ones are going to burn up a rear while readjusting their bike setup to the new tire and having that second rear to push the new setup on is where the rider is really trying the tires out.

Regardless, I'm looking forward to giving Michelin plenty of seat time this season.

To keep the fast riders happy... ? I don't know what that is supposed to mean.. you're still buying twice the amount of rear tires to get one front tire... but if spending an extra $250+ is what keeps you fast guys happy.. cool?

I'm running a special at work... buy one large pizza, get a small free.
I mean, buy two large pizzas.... get a small free. It caters to the people that eat more pizza. Now they get more pizza! ...right?

I think he meant as in most riders will go through two or more rears for every front tire anyway.

However if I'm not mistaking this offer is only valid once.

Like I said, just a guess. Use one tire for setup, the other for results.

Ripping my ass up isn't going to do you any good so consider redirecting some of that energy into....I dunno....your new Bridgestones, perhaps?

I understand what philkinson is saying. Before you were paying $225 for a rear and getting a $175 front for free. Now you are paying $450 for two rears and getting a $175 front for free. In the idea of value your losing more 225-175 vs 450-175 . as for trying the tires let's say you love the tires, then yes having 2 rears is great. If you hate the tires you are going to know on that first rear and now you have a second to do nothing with (for most guys) I understand some really fast guys will want to go through 2 rears to get a full opinion on the tires but I understand that "most" guys are going to have a good idea of weather they are liking these or not within use of that first rear. I also agree that this entire promotion has made Michelin look worse if anything. Caught with there pants down, unprepared and not fully thought through.
