Well, I swapped the battery out today, I can see a good chunk of the rear subframe can be cut off but I haven't decided if I'm going to do so yet. I wonder how much weight I could save by stripping off the 17 layers of primer off the gas tank?

I weighed my ZX6R last round with about 1.5g of fuel and got 368lbs

You can cut and hack...add throw all the TI stuff and it won't help.........savings is minimal

A real weight reduction program requires you to think in ounces, not pounds. Systematically eliminate as many ounces as you can and the pounds take care of themselves.

Money and attention can be spent better, elswhere for sure......at the level LRRS is at its minimal
