Awesome race. Doesn't get any better. Moto3 was exciting. Somehow moto2 has gotten boring.

One of the best races I've seen to date, loved it.

It was self defense. I enjoyed the post race press conference where Iannone shrugged the incident off and said he was glad it flew up high enough that it didn't get under his front tire.

What an amazing race. THAT is what motogp racing is all about. Wish you could have that every time.

This year is so much better than one of those seasons where someone just runs away, and there is never even a pass or two in the top three. Yawn.

Exactly. A thriller from start to finish. Couldn't believe how many times a rider went from 2nd to 4th and vice versa in just one corner.
Not deleting that from the dvr!

I think I've watched the last few laps 3 or 4 times now. Even just hearing the play by play (pass by pass) was something.

Watched the race more than a couple times now, great battle at one of my favorite tracks. Dying to ride there... someday...

One of our soccer players is from Australia and has driven a car around the track. Lucky bastard I told him.

I have dreamed of riding that track since the first time I saw it. I just love the turn where it looks like you're going right into the ocean.

And I'll be signing up for that again so I can ride that track and others in the greater Northeast.

I've actually got a connection through a good friend with the guys who run track days over there. It's not a complete impossibility for someday in the future. I'm dying to run through Leuky Heights and the following right hander at the bottom of the hill. Learn to Fly indeed!

Not to derail the Philip Island dreaming, I'm on board too, but the championship drama just ramped up a couple notches.

My take on it all is...challenge Marquez to clear out so JL and VR can scrap unhindered.

I dunno, could also just be VR had a bad week and was feeling pissy.

Vale trying to pull out all the stops this year! Hasn't been a good mental battle in a long time. People's drama skills are likely rusty.

Rossi is the master of the mind games, kind of Bill Belichickian if you ask me...

Re: Moto GP: Australian GP (Spoilers)

I don't think Marquez did it on purpose. I also think that Rossi knows this.

However, by making a big deal about it and calling him out, it puts pressure on Marquez to leave nothing to chance and attempt to ride clear off at the front...this would take him out of the direct battle between Rossi and Lorenzo. Also, if Marquez is able to ride away at the front, the point difference between second and third is less than first and second.

Good move Rossi, but its very unsportsmanlike.

It could backfire. Marquez could get mad and fuck with him on purpose now!

This is exactly where my head is at with it all. It's a 50/50 at best...

These last two rounds of racing are absolutely electrified.
