Yeah Binder's been pretty awesome to watch. All of those guys have been awesome to watch, really, but he seems to be able to really turn it on big & strategize with the best of em in that class when it counts.

IMHO, I'm not convinced Ianonne was trying to put a pass on JLo from that far back. I think, rather, he was simply trying to carry the corner speed. To me, it looks like he made an error in judgement about exactly what lines, and how slow, JLo was running. From that far back, with another racer in your path, with no hope to make a pass, instinct should tell you to stay to the outside. When most of us do this (hopefully), we don't set our line up on the inside of the rider ahead of us ... rather, we set up our line up just slightly on the outside of the rider ahead. Ianonne should have done that and could have run wide (if needed) around the outside to safely scrub off a little speed and then reattempted a pass later on. His pace was significantly faster than JLo's, so there was no reason to rush a pass. It was a slit second error in judgment. You know... novice club racer shit.

I agree 100 percent. Jorge was off pace and Ianonne made an error in judgement. I think he had the opportunity to switch to the outside, but decided against it. I think he was in hot though either way.

Aren't they all though? Jack Miller can't keep it on 2 wheels, Marquez was a bit wild at first. He will find his way. I appreciate the pushing and attempt. Others aren't doing it so successfully (Iannone).

Confidence is a powerful drug. Not as powerful as a factory bike, but some of the best riders in the world crashed trying to run the same pace as Miller. I hope he keeps some humility with his success. That was certainly a race worth watching!

Ok maybe if I nay say again, it will keep things interesting....

If it took 10 years for a non-factory bike to win a race, I doubt we will see it again this season. Jack had a poor attitude in Moto3 so I am sure his performance in MotoGP has humbled him a bit. He deserved every ounce of that win yesterday and I also hope he keeps his humility.

Nice to see we agree! He may never win again, but I bet he'll stop being a back marker and might get access to some better equipment. I didn't like his attitude either in the past, but it's a helluva story to overcome the injury and poor finishes in that fashion. It was a thrill to see things turned upside down, but I was sad to watch Rossi toss away a chance at the championship battle. He totally Marquezed it.

THAT was an interesting race. Admittedly very fun to watch. Miller's "speech" was great good for him

Theories on Rossi? Didn't look like he was pushing too hard.. too much front brake? Too bad, those points would have put him in a nice spot.

He went in a couple of mph hotter than previous lap, just asked too much (in his own words).

He was pushing for no good reason (also in his words) and feels it was a dumb mistake.

Haven't watched Moto3 yet but GP was obviously great for Ducati. Not much else to say, it started off with some good action but that didn't last long..

Haha, yeah I was thinking the same thing. I'll bet Rossi & Lorenzo were too. Actually got pretty excited for them those last laps, I'm sure the Ducati guys are in heaven right now.

Awesome race! Best birthday present so far haha, just glad to see all the first-time winners and Rossi on the podium.

Is it just me or is tire selection practically the main focus this year? Seems like a serious vacuum for good battles and winners being decided by weather, tire choice & bikes over skill alone. Maybe just the last 3-4 races getting that way, just keep thinking we should see Marquez, Rossi & Lorenzo out there duking it out for first instead of lagging back in 16th place or all these DNFs. Funky season so far.
