But you can't just open the app and cast, can you? If you can do that, you can do everything the motogp website has, including replays of everything, no spoiler mode, etc.

Fine. It's nothing like a chromecast and still isn't bound to google in any way.
It's just a device that streams. Requires a native app support. Of which there is a MotoGP app.

Don't mind me, I'm just a sheeple...enjoying flawless MotoGP coverage.

I fell asleep watching last night. So this morning I cast it to my TV in my bedroom as I awoke. Moved into my living room and seamlessly moved the cast to the TV there. Did some stretching/exercising while watching. Running out of time, I uncasted, took my waterproof iPhone in the shower with me, flawlessly paired it with the bluetooth speaker in the shower and watched the race uninterrupted while cleansing myself. I also used my quip toothbrush while in the shower I bought off of instagram marketing. My quip should auto connect to my phone and with a "mapmybrush" type app and automatically share with my dentist so there is no TomFoolery when he tells me I need a filling.

I'm just saying, sometimes its easier to not fight the man and enjoy what he offers!

I still don't know what a roku does.

I wish to modify my review of my newly purchased MotoGP video pass:
My biggest complaint with the service is now how the kalifornia hipsters complain that I am doing it wrong when I complain about (honestly relatively minor) bugs in the mogogp streaming app on my platform of choice, principally because his platform of choice is different than my platform of choice.

Back on topic. Jerez is boring, except that last corner sometimes.

Anyone see Marc boot the railing in parc ferme? He is normally pumped, but he seemed overly pumped. I think he may have just realized he is actually unstoppable.

Any guesses on what was broke on the Honda at Austin?

Hahaaa, the motogp site is still one of the best. Roku has a super annoying search design. I assume if you are watching motogp on roku you had to have paid for the site. I'm with you J. Just chromecast it all around the house (and RV).

    Re: MotoGP 2019 (spoilers)

Has anyone used WorldSBK app? It just doesn't actually work. At all. Not even if you want to watch on your phone.

I need to use my computer and cast the chrome browser. Even then, every 5-10 minutes the sound gets all screwy. Maybe I need roku for WorldSBK

    Re: MotoGP 2019 (spoilers)

Yes. I've paid for the site. Our Roku is our primary streaming device though. Netflix. PBS Kids. Yoootoobes. It does it all for us.

We are a 1 TV household.

Actually another weird Roku app thing. When you first sign up you get a few days free. I thought they'd taken my CC info and would charge me when I didn't opt out by the end of the trial. Not so. Instead it just shows you the clips but then refuses to play them. Any of them. Took me a few minutes of swearing before I went to the site and figured it out.

WSBK app doesn't work for me either. I can't understand as they are owned by the same company that owns motogp, and I thought they were more or less mirroring that site.

    Re: MotoGP 2019 (spoilers)

Yeah, I can cast if I want to cast, but I don't want to. I don't like casting with my primary TV, there's something about using a device so I can use another device that rubs me the wrong way. Our iMac is in the same room as the TV, I could cast from that. I could cast from the iPad, or my iPhone, but iDon't want to. What I want is to get my primary entertainment from a single source, which in theory Roku does. I'm not sure why Bubs and I are seeing two different things, but I'm going to take another look tonight and snap a picture or two.

Engine braking programming not quite right for the 2019 motor -

This year HRC found a lot more power and torque from its 90-degree V4 engine. When you get more performance out of an engine you probably change its combustion character, which changes the torque character, which also changes the negative-torque character.

Building an engine-braking map that creates consistent rear grip while the rider hauls on the brakes and shifts through the gears is more important than ever, because riders need all the braking power they can get from the rear Michelin to support the front Michelin.

At Jerez, Márquez admitted he had been having problems all season, but he was more able to ride around them at Losail and Termas, which are smoother and more sweeping than COTA, which is tight and bumpy.

I'd love to see what Rossi could be doing with Dovisioso's horsepower. But I admit to being a Rossi fanboy.

The series is overdue for a major shake-up. Let's go back to the 500's.

WSBK is in desperate need of a mix up as well.

Agreed, seems like Honda picked up some power this year too and it's hard to tell where Yamaha has any advantage below the seat. I mean, I'm a Rossi fanboy too.. also rooting hard for Rins, but fact is I think Marquez is just too damn good. I mean, Lorenzo has the same bike.

To be fair, 93 has ridden and developed the Honda for years. It's 99's first season on a very different machine to him. Not that I didn't expect him to do better than he is, but it isn't apples to apples with Marquez's experience on the Honda. Plus, as you mentioned, Marquez is just too good.

All valid points. I expected Lorenzo to do better. I also expected him to do better on the Ducati then he did at first. When he got what he wanted he did start running up front with it. Maybe it will be the same with the Honda. I still don't see him challenging Marquez. Marquez is just that good. He has done nothing but win since he moved up to MotoGP. In six years he won 5 times and finished third once. It's going to take someone special to beat him on a regular basis. At least it's more exciting then when Lorenzo was winning a lot. Marc can throw it down the road at any moment where Lorenzo looked like he was going for a Sunday ride.

Really, I don't need the other bikes out there. I could watch Marquez ride alone for an hour. It's stunning.

    Re: MotoGP 2019 (spoilers)

I think just for fun start 93 at the back of the pack and see how many riders he can pick off each lap and where he ends up. I think no worse than 5th over the course of a race and sometimes better.
