This is just too painful
Two DNFs in two weeks is VR46 done? Thinking the old man still has some good races left in him. But the tide is rolling out and his luck is not been good of late.. and lorenzo Honda dream is a nightmare!
All three races were great this weekend. I think Rossi is getting a bit desperate at this point especially now that Vinales is starting to product good runs. I don't know if he is done after this year but the writing is on the wall for him with all the new talent coming up.
Is it just me or did it look like Jorge purposely sent himself tumbling and paid a massive price for it?
I like Quatararo a lot. I’d love to say he’s the real deal, but I’m nervous he’s gonna go the way of every other tech 3 rider: Zarco, Pol, Cal, etc were all able to get podiums on that bike.
1. I think Lorenzo's injuries may have originated in his previous crash. There was nothing in that tumble that should have broken his vertebrae with an airbag on.
2. I wish Rossi had retired 2 years ago. THis is painful to watch.
3. Yes, beware the fast rookie. They most often get lost once bumped to a factory team where the bike changes from event to event. Riding the same bike, locked in for a season or two is far easier than developing a bike AND performing at the same time.
Holy headshake for Quatararo. I'm surprised the announcers never said a Braaave ride.
So much for a boring runaway season for the Red bike! Cant say I am a fan of Rea but the guy has keep it clean while his challenger has failed to finish and how leads the points!
10 out of 10. MM is simply not human. As incredible as it can be to be alive to watch the greatest moto racer of all times do his things it’s getting annoying, like nobody should be THAT good.
How about them electric bikes?
None of the races today held up to the past couple. I dozed off after Marquez pulled away. The fight for the podium wasn't even that exciting. I'll wait until I see another race with the electric bikes to decide if they are worth getting up for or not. The racing was decent but they need more endurance. 7 laps isn't really enough time to have a good race develop.
I was really disappointed by the electric bikes. It seemed pretty clear this was the B-squad and that they really didn't have much seat time with these machines.
And what the hell was up with the color commentary guy that mumbled the whole time?!? One commentator on coke, one on horse tranquilizers..
But have you seen his girlfriend?Quote:

I swear they were elbow down in the wet.
I'm usually not one to spread rumors but this one is so dee-lish I can't help myself.....

That article does raise some good points. The one I like the most is that Dovi is not the man to beat Marquez, short of an injury or something. I don't think Jorge is the guy either. Marc is special, the Honda isn't. I'm fairly certain he would win the championship on any of the factory bikes on the grid...even the KTM. He really is that special.
I don't think you can go out and find or create the guy that will beat him. I think you need to wait until he shows himself. I think Stoner was the only other recent rider with a similar gift as Marc. With a little luck, I think he could have beaten him. I really don't think its Fabio or any of the young guns right now.
Great race today. The E race was pretty cool too - awesome to see Sete out there and he finished well! 46 years old..
Great move on Dovi's part durring the last lap
Best race year to date
