Team endxurance race

Got a call wednesday night, 'Hey Jay, blow off work tomorrow, you're coming up to race'. I didn't completely blow it off, i just came in for a half day jumped in the truck and headed for the track. Well Heath, Degs, and I raced the FUSA endurance race and I have to say we ran pretty damn good. I took the start on rain tires as the track was wet but it dried out quickly. Got a great start and was moving really well, holding 2nd or 3rd, Heath took the second leg, running the rain tires that I had pretty much smoked off, and then we brought him in for a pit and switched him out to some DOT race tires. Sent him back out for a while, and then Degsy took the ankor. We finished 4th place overal I believe and it was a blast. I could tell I was getting tired but it wasn't till I tired to hop off the bike that I realized my legs were absolutely dead. i guess when I was in the rhythm I didn't notice but god damn they're sore today and I was having trouble walking up stairs and sitting down slow yesterday. Big thanks to Dan(legalspeed), Ben, Jim(ricerocket),Tracy(double D), Gerard, and everyone else helping out in the pits, with tires, pit board, timing and photos.

oh, and Deb, went down in turn 1/1A, she was racing the whole 100 lap race by herself and she had a great pace the whole time she was out there. I hope she's ok, I had to take off as soon as the race ended to go to a rehersal dinner so i didn't get to find out. Some of you may be familiar with her. She races a bright orange R6.

Awesome. I bet it was quite the event. I wanted to try to make a daytrip down to check it out but it was just too wet and I had to go to an infant/child CPR course.
