Was it something you did or just a bad part of the track?

    Re: near highside T4

One of my first weekends on the SV I did that! I was so used to just wacking the throttle open on the EX so I did it on the SV. I was out of the seat and came back down on the right side riding on my right butt cheek. My left leg was still somehow on the seat and I managed to "crab" walk myself back on the seat and keep going. I always bring extra underwear to the track cause you just never know!

that part of the track promotes high sides lol, but its most def my fault, i was a bit more liberal with the gas leaned over as i was chasing some quicker guys in front of me...

The track is supposed to be challenging. The rider is supposed to stay on the bike!

I just get a chuckle when people blame tracks, tires, and bikes for crashing. Last I checked, the only reason for a crash is a rider error. In fact, many times the bike can carry on just fine without the rider!

You were likely on the gas coming out of T3 and the suspension started to unload as you crested the hill...add to that some lean angle and you got the Rachel Ray recipe for a crash.

Ding, We have a winner. It's usually a late steering input right where you should be picking it up to accelerate.
