    LRRS requires numbers on helmets

    anyone know how big they have to be? I saw they are required but nothing about size, location, whatever...

    anyone?

    I think they're pretty forigivng size wise, but they require one on each side of hte helmet. I think mine are the 3 inch white numbers I got at S&C.

    Left and right, they dont want them on the back in case your laying on your back, they yelled at me cause mine originially were on the back.

    doesn't really matter the size, left and right side.....as long as they can read it.

    its basically so if theres a pile up they can tell what guy goes with what bike i think, thats what i was told anyway haha.

    I like it, cause then when Im posing on newbury everyone KNOWS Im a racer. Thus, Im better than them. They dont need to know I race an EX.

    i remember the 2 weeks before a race weekend I spent so much time working on my bike painting it up nice ... etc, to just highside it out of turn 2 that next weekend

    Both sides? I have mine on the left and it always passed tech. Guess i will slap another on the other side.

    I just put a square of duct tape on each side and write my number with a sharpie. I do ride an EX though, so real numbers would look like I was upper middle class.
