Nice Guys Finish Last...?

Was just thinking about the very different personalities of Casey Stoner and Valentino Rossi.

I don't know either of them other than the way the present themselves. I got a chance to see both of them many times over the course of the 4 days at the MotoGP in Indy.

Rossi seems to genuinely like people, to mingle and share, and appears to be a really 'nice' guy.

Stoner seems cold, aloof, and fundamentally disinterested in mingling with the common people.

Both are unquestionably on the very pinnacle of their game.

So...nice guys finish first. Not so nice guys too.

Just because Stoner's not outgoing and gregarious doesn't mean he's not a nice guy. Maybe he's just the quiet type who's not comfortable in large crowds.

Either way, there's no denying he's an amazing rider.
